Conferência da Haia de Direito Internacional Privado | Christophe Bernasconi (in English)

Lecture by the General Secretary of the Hague Conference, Christophe Bernasconi.

Seeking to disseminate the Hague Conference on International Private Law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) and the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) promoted, on October 14, 2019, a seminar on the Hague Conference on International Private Law and its Conventions, at the Rio Branco Institute, in Brasília.

Established in 1893, the Hague Conference is an intergovernmental organization which aims to promote the progressive unification of the rules of private international law. The organization currently features 82 member-countries, as well as the European Union. In 2001, Brazil became a member of that entity.
